CB staking

Put USDC or USDT into CB staking for a set period. You receive a digital record called a CB NFT, can earn rewards, and later choose how to exit. CB stands for Collateral Bond.

CB staking is a blockchain-based digital asset deposit system that provides regular rewards to long-term holders through smart contracts.

This service is not a government-guaranteed pension or financial product. It is a digital asset rewards mechanism whose returns may vary with market conditions and protocol operations.

CB staking, step by step

Follow the staking journey, then explore your options.

  1. 1. Put in stablecoins

Choose USDC or USDT and a staking period of at least one month.

  2. 2. Receive your CB NFT

Think of it as a digital claim record: it represents your stake and your option to convert into PMW.

Example CB staking NFT: The Confident Smoker, Uncommon.

  3. 3. Hold and earn rewards

Rewards are paid periodically. The amount can change.

4. Choose your next step

Get stablecoins back

At the end of the staking period, return the NFT for your original stablecoins and remaining rewards.

Receive PMW instead

Convert the NFT into PMW. The NFT is destroyed, so you cannot also use it to claim the original stablecoins.

Sell the NFT

Offer your CB NFT on a marketplace. A sale happens only when a buyer agrees to purchase it.

Trading your NFT

Selling the NFT is different from converting it into PMW or redeeming stablecoins. A listing does not guarantee a sale.

Optional: use your position in other ways

Borrowing and additional staking have their own rules and risks. They are not required steps.

Words you will see

  • Stablecoin: a token such as USDC or USDT designed to track a currency’s value. It can still lose that peg.
  • Maturity: the end of your agreed staking period.
  • Conversion: exchanging your CB NFT for PMW instead of claiming the original stablecoins.
  • Burn: permanently destroying the NFT after conversion so it cannot be used again.

How CB staking works

Stake stablecoins such as USDC or USDT for at least one month. The CB NFT carries a PMW allocation valued at 80% of the stablecoin stake. Rewards are paid periodically.

An example: a 1,000 USDC stake

For example, you stake 1,000 USDC. Your NFT records that stake and a PMW allocation valued at 800 USDC. That does not mean 800 PMW—the number of tokens depends on the valuation. At maturity, you can return the NFT for the original 1,000 USDC and remaining rewards, or convert it into PMW instead. Check fees before choosing.

Where rewards come from

Rewards are funded by revenue from PlantMe services, including swap fees, payment fees and P2P trading fees.

CB staking rewards

Reward amounts depend on service revenue and the applicable staking terms. The diagram does not represent a fixed fee or reward percentage.

When new staking entries pause

To help support rewards for existing NFT holders, PlantMe limits when new staking positions can be opened.

APR means annual percentage rate: a yearly measure of rewards before compounding. It is not a guaranteed return.

APR below 10%

New staking entries pause.

APR above 15%

New staking entries reopen.

Between 10% and 15%, including exactly 10% or 15%, the current entry status stays unchanged. If entry is paused, reaching 10% does not reopen it; APR must rise above 15%.

This rule controls new staking entries. It does not promise a fixed APR for existing holders.

More than artwork: a tradable staking NFT

Your CB NFT represents a stablecoin staking position and a PMW conversion option. Buyers can evaluate that position, not just the artwork.

The underlying stake, remaining staking period, rewards, PMW outlook and applicable fees can affect what someone is willing to pay. The marketplace price is not a guaranteed cash value.

When your outlook changes

If your outlook for PMW weakens, you may choose to list your CB NFT for sale instead of converting it. A sale requires a buyer.

When someone sees an opportunity

Someone with a more positive outlook for PMW may consider buying a CB NFT on the marketplace. They should compare the asking price with the position’s terms and risks.

Selling the NFT is different from converting it into PMW or redeeming stablecoins. A listing does not guarantee a sale.

Who receives the rewards?

The holder of the CB NFT on the reward date receives that reward.

  • Sell before the reward date: the buyer receives the reward.
  • Sell after the reward date: that date’s reward belongs to the seller. The buyer receives later rewards while holding the NFT.

Borrow against your position

You can use the PMW represented by your NFT to back a USDT loan. This backing is called collateral. You still owe the loan; borrowing is not getting your original deposit back. How much you can borrow depends on your collateral value and the loan rules.

If the collateral value falls, the loan becomes larger compared with its backing. This comparison is called loan-to-value, or LTV. If it reaches the liquidation limit, collateral can be sold to repay the loan.

Additional staking opportunities

The design also provides for staking a CB NFT in a separate rewards program when that integration is available. Additional rewards have their own eligibility and staking terms; they are not automatically included in the base CB staking return.

Related PMW staking rounds use first-come access, a per-wallet cap, a total round cap and a limited duration. Governance determines round limits.

Related liquidity-provider staking uses a 50/50 PMW–SUI pair and can add staking rewards to a share of trading fees. LP staking is a separate position with separate conditions; holding a CB NFT does not automatically create an LP position.

Redemption or conversion

Return the CB NFT at maturity to redeem your original stablecoins and remaining rewards. Alternatively, convert the NFT into PMW; conversion burns the NFT, so it cannot also be returned for stablecoin redemption.

Early conversion and redemption fees

Early conversion exchanges the CB NFT for PMW before maturity and burns the NFT. The documented conversion fee range is 2–5%. The applicable fee must be checked before conversion; conversion does not also return the original stablecoins.

Early redemption returns only the eligible stablecoin portion, capped at 10% of the original deposit, with a fee. It is different from converting into PMW. A 1,000 USDC deposit therefore has an early-redemption cap of 100 USDC before fees.

Fee calculation

Redemption fee calculation

Fee = D × R × (D / T) × (1 − t / Td)

D is your deposit, T is total deposits, R is the base fee rate, t is elapsed time and Td is the full staking period. The fee model scales the base fee by your share of deposits and the remaining time.

Illustration only: D = 1,000 USDC, T = 50,000 USDC, R = 10%, t = 6 months and Td = 12 months gives a fee of 1 USDC. These example inputs are not a quote or a promised live fee.

Understand the trade-offs

Stablecoins can lose their peg. Smart-contract failures, third-party protocol exposure, limited liquidity and changing yields can affect the position. PMW conversion changes your exposure to PMW price movements; it does not remove those risks. Borrowing also adds liquidation risk.

Before choosing a path

Check the staking period, PMW allocation and valuation, reward conditions, exit fees and any separate borrowing or additional-staking obligations. Stablecoin redemption, PMW conversion, a collateralized loan and LP staking are different actions with different outcomes.
